This helps prevent residue build-up and maintains the natural quality of the bristles. Thoroughly wash your brush after every use To maintain the shape and integrity of the bristles, it's best to hang the brush with the bristles facing downward while drying. This prevents water from seeping into the handle and helps the bristles retain their natural form without becoming distorted. To preserve the suppleness of the natural bristles and prolong the overall life of the brush, you can occasionally treat the bristles with a small amount of linseed oil.
